What can I do if my credit card has been rejected?
First, please be sure to
- enter your credit card number with NO SPACES or punctuation marks of any kind between the groups of numbers.
- enter the Bill To address exactly as it appears on the monthly statement from your credit card company.
- If this still does not work, please try another credit card.

Shipping. When will I receive my order?
Shipping is done by WORK Inc. and FedEx. It is the mission of WORK, Inc. to ensure that all individuals with disabilities have the ability to grow, the right to make choices, access to education, and the opportunity to participate in community life via meaningful work.
Orders are typically sent out within three business days. Delivery time will vary depending on your location. You should receive your order within ten days.
The shipping charge for one book is $4.00; for additional books the charge is $1.00 for each additional book.
What if I want a rush delivery?
We may be able to do a rush delivery. Please call to discuss the shipping options. Please call (617) 879-0397. If you get Voice Mail, please be sure to suggest convenient times to return you call.
Then we can find out the extra charge for rush delivery. The price will vary depending on your distance from Work, Inc.
Do you have a retail stores I can visit?
No. We only sell online, by phone, and by mail.
Can I order by mail or telephone?

By telephone: (617) 879-0397. If possible, please call during regular business hours (we are on Eastern time). You will need a credit card to place your order. If your call is answered by voice mail, please leave your name, telephone number, and convenient times to return your call. We try to return all calls within 48 hours.
Do you offer any special rates for bulk orders?
Yes. Books, except for You Will Dream New Dreams, can be purchased in bulk. Please call (617) 879-0397 or email email@example.com for place an order. Please do not try to order online.
Bulk prices for Managing a Special Needs Trust:
5 - 24 books: $25/book + shipping at cost
25 - 48 books: $20/book + shipping at cost
49 + books: $17/book + shipping at cost
Can an organization re-sell your books?
Yes. Sometimes, organizations sell our books for fundraising at conferences and other meetings. Please call (617) 879-0397 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
I live in Massachusetts and was charged sales tax for a book I bought. But when I bought a book for shipment to my cousin who is out of state, I did not pay tax. Why?
As a Massachusetts company, DisABILITIESBOOKS is required to pay sales tax on any goods shipped to in-state customers.
Non-profits do not pay sales tax. If you place an order for a Massachusetts nonprofit, please call (617) 879-0397 or email us (email@example.com) to let us know so that we can refund the sales tax.
When we ship out of state, we are not required to charge the state sales taxes.
I did not get what I had ordered. What can I do about it?
We try not to make mistakes, but sometimes do. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with a description of the problem (e.g. what you ordered and what you got), your name, and phone number. If it is available, please include the date of your order and the order number.
Why should I sign up for your mailing list?
Occasionally, we like to send our customers information that we believe will be of interest.
Signing up for the mailing list is not required.
